About
My path into AI began among printing presses. That is where I learned to plan carefully and prevent errors before they become expensive in production. I built digital printing operations, improved production and web-to-print workflows, and realised that every process brings me back to the same question: How do we turn complex technology into a system that works in everyday life?
When low-code and workflow tools reached their limits at Druckerei Hertle, I started learning Python. A part-time master’s degree in data science — alongside my full-time role at netzwerk P — turned that into a new way of looking at problems. Since then, hardly a day passes without an idea for a product, tool or experiment.
Leading a team taught me that the most important component in any system is still the person. Bringing people along, getting them excited about an idea and solving problems together continue to shape my work. From September 2026, my role as a Forward Deployed AI Engineer at NiCE Cognigy brings those two sides together: people and technical integration.
A prototype can move fast. A product has to be secure, understandable and reliable. I prefer technology that people can understand, adapt and build on. That is why open source and local models matter to me.
